Takes Me Down

I mention this in passing twice
I'll hold my tongue as long as nothing understood is nice
It's just my way to criticize
I understand a little less than maybe's wise

It really takes me down (i always like to begin with)
It really takes me down (everything's mind all along)
I promise not a sound (say something that i'll remember)
'cause it really takes me down (something is turning out wrong)

I need convincing long before
I'll disregard a few things
I'll allow a few things more
It's all the time i can afford
Not to expect much in the way of our reward
