Reviews: After his online debut-album “Vergangenheit und Gegenwart” wich received very good reviews - released at www.lichttaufe.de - follows his first official CD release on ART-KONKRET. The Goddess of hunting and of the winter in the germanic mythology is Skadi. So the CD starts with cold and mystical soundscapes, followed by rituell percussive elements. Skadi creates a dark athmosphere with chants, dark dronings, strings, natural sounds but also with percussions and bells. Because of this SKADI is an interesting mixture of various dark ambient soundscapes.

The project is attractive in its diversified parts. Similarities to projects like Sephiroth respectively Ulf Söderberg, Triarii or Vinterriket can be noticed, without being another copy of them. Opposingly to many monotonous dark ambient projects - which only well disposed listener will be able to differ one track from another, SKADI appears as a catchy project by its rhythmic and melodical elements with Tune Wedgie character. Eliwagar is the soundtrack for the forthcoming cold wintertimes.
